1. Who we are

Telvory Player is published by ALANHAR ALKHAMSA COMPANY LTD., also known in English as Five Rivers ("we", "us", "our"), the company behind Telvory Live. This policy covers only the Telvory Player app. Our main privacy policy covers the website and the Telvory Live platform. We handle personal data in line with the Personal Data Protection Law of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and other laws that apply to us.

2. The app and your provider

Telvory Player is a video player. It does not include, sell or recommend any channels or programmes. It plays only the service of your provider: the business that gave you a link (or QR code) to sign in. Your provider is our customer and decides which channels you may watch and on how many devices.

  • For your provider, we process playback data on its behalf (as a processor) so it can run its service and see how it performs. Questions about the service itself should go to your provider; we will help them answer.
  • As a controller, we decide how data is used to keep the app secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.

3. What we do not collect

The app does not ask for or collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, files, microphone, camera or precise location. It does not read your advertising ID or hardware identifiers, contains no advertising or third-party analytics SDKs, and does not track you across other apps or websites. You do not create an account in the app.

4. Data the app collects

DataWhat exactlyWhy
Install IDA random identifier created when the app is first opened. It is not derived from your device and is replaced when you reinstall the app or clear its data.Count devices against your provider's device limit; let your provider list, rename or remove a device
Device and app detailsDevice model, Android version, phone or TV, app version and build, app language setting, where the app was installed fromCompatibility, troubleshooting, minimum-version checks
Link referenceThe sign-in link your provider gave you is sent with each request to prove access. Our servers keep only a one-way hash of it and an internal link number, never the link in readable form in logs.Authorise playback for your provider's service
Playback eventsChannel number opened, start, pause, resume and stop, how a channel was opened (list, guide, zapping), why playback ended, features used (for example picture-in-picture)Enforce your provider's limits; viewing statistics for your provider (watching now, watch time)
Quality metricsTime to first picture, bitrate, buffer level, dropped frames, stalls, error codes, which of your provider's servers was used, automatic switches to a backup server, player engineReliable playback, diagnosing problems, service-quality reports for your provider
IP addressYour IP address as seen by our servers, and the country derived from itSecurity, rate limiting, detecting shared or abused links
Crash diagnosticsIf the app crashes: the type of failure and a code location fingerprint, never addresses or linksFixing defects

Playback data describes a device and its viewing sessions. We do not combine it with information from other sources to identify you, and we never use it to build advertising profiles.

5. How we use it

  • To play your provider's service and keep it working, including switching to a backup server when one fails.
  • To apply your provider's rules: device limits, simultaneous-viewing limits and removal of devices.
  • To protect the service against abuse, link sharing and attacks.
  • To give your provider statistics about its own service, such as devices watching now, watch time and playback quality.
  • To find and fix errors and improve reliability.

We do not sell data, do not use it for advertising and do not share it for marketing.

6. Who can see it

  • Your provider sees data about its own service only: devices signed in with its links (model, app version, last seen) and viewing and quality statistics.
  • Our service providers host and deliver the service on our instructions: Microsoft Azure (hosting and database) and Cloudflare (network, security and content delivery). See our main privacy policy for details.
  • Authorities, only when the law requires it.

7. Storage on your device

The app keeps its settings, your sign-in link, the install ID and a cached copy of your provider's channel list, branding and settings in its private storage, so it starts quickly and works through short network outages. Cloud backup of app data is turned off. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

8. Retention

DataHow long we keep it
Playback events and quality metricsUp to 90 days, then deleted or kept only as aggregated statistics that do not identify a device
Crash diagnosticsUp to 90 days
IP address and derived countryUp to 7 days; for rate limiting only in memory, for minutes
Install ID and device detailsWhile your provider's link is active; deleted within 90 days after the link is removed or your provider's contract ends

9. Security

Data travels encrypted over HTTPS. Sign-in links are kept out of web addresses and logs and stored on our side only as a hash. Data of each provider is kept separate, access is limited to authorised staff, and our origin servers are never exposed to the public internet.

10. Your choices and rights

  • Signing out or uninstalling the app stops all collection. Reinstalling creates a new install ID that is not linked to the old one.
  • Subject to applicable law, you may ask to access, correct or delete personal data about you. Email support@telvorylive.com and tell us the name of your provider and the device; we act on deletion requests within 30 days, together with your provider where the data is held for them.
  • You may lodge a complaint with the Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) or another competent authority.

11. Children

Telvory Player is intended for adults (18+) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We will post any update on this page with a new effective date. If the app starts collecting a new kind of data, we will update this policy and the store listing before the new version is released.

13. Contact
